Hi {{first_name|there}},
Webinar University now has pricing guides for a dozen webinar platforms, each one checked against the vendor's own pricing page this month. Read side by side, they show something the sticker prices hide: platforms don't charge for "a webinar." They charge for hosts, attendees, registrants or audience size, and what they count moves your bill more than the headline number.
Same webinar, different meter
Platform | What it counts | Cheapest plan with webinars, billed yearly |
|---|---|---|
Licenses, by audience size | $800 a year for 300 attendees, plus a Zoom Workplace Pro license ($169.90 a year) | |
Participant cap per plan | $59/mo (Reach): 1 organizer seat, up to 500 participants | |
Hosts, by room size | $45/mo (Starter): 1 host, 50 attendees | |
Attendees, as yearly credits | $1,200 a year for 400 credits ($3.00 per attendee) | |
Flat plan with an attendee cap | $39/mo (Starter): 100 attendees, 1 host, 1-hour sessions | |
Largest audience per event | $37/mo (Live): 50 attendees | |
Registrants | $79/mo (Webinar): up to 100 registrants | |
Viewers per stream | $68.99/mo (Advanced): 100 viewers per stream | |
Quoted by sales | No public price. According to Vendr, the median buyer pays $39,350 a year |
US dollar list prices as of October 2026, from each vendor's pricing page. Every row links to the full guide, and the Webinar Platform Index puts them all on one page.
Three questions before you sign
1. What does it count?
A registrant cap fills faster than an attendee cap, because everyone who signs up counts, including the people who never show. Riverside's Webinar plan stops at 100 registrants, not 100 attendees.
2. Does a replay cost money?
On Livestorm, a credit is spent each time a unique person attends a session, live, on replay or on demand. Budget for your on-demand views, not just the live room.
3. Where does CRM sync start?
Demio's native HubSpot, Salesforce and Marketo sync sits on Premium. Riverside's Webinar plan connects to HubSpot only. Zoom lists HubSpot, Salesforce and Marketo as included on Webinars, Webinars Plus and Events. If leads have to reach your CRM the same day, price the plan that does that.
MY RULE
Price the year, not the plan
After more than a thousand enterprise B2B webinars, this is the habit I'd keep. Write down your sessions, hosts, average audience and replay views for the next 12 months, then run every platform on your shortlist against that one set of numbers.
